Karen Lois Whiteread - Film Stills

As well as being an artist I also work as a stills photographer on film. I work mainly on low budget British films and TV dramas. This work gives me financial security as well as an opportunity to work as part of a team. Over the past few years the films I have worked on several films that have given me the opportunity to develop my skills in digital image making as well as conventional photography. My passion is portraiture and the chance to photograph some of the leading actors in this country has been a great experience. I do not hold copy right to many of the images that I have taken so images on the site are limited.

State of the Party- Hans Matheson - Started shooting in May 2000. I worked on the film for 3 weeks and shot over 1000 images before the financiers pulled out and the film was never released.
