SE5 Scene - London - Public Art
These
large scale projections animated this building and revealed an alternative
life for it. It became a space for creative expression by the young people
working collaboratively with us. These teenagers who appeared on the faces
of the building instead of within it gave a strong message to the community
inviting them to discuss and debate the issues within the films. The area
around the courts was transformed nightly as the screenings took place
into a social space with special events at the weekend such as free fish
and chip suppers!
