Outside The Butcher's Shop

- Commissioned as a part of Kingston-Upon-Hull's Literary Festival collaborative project.

Surveillance cameras capture our image and show realtime footage on overhead monitors.Cut into this footage is pre recorded material shot in the same spaces. Disorientated, the viewer becomes unaware of what is happening now and what has happened in the past.

Throughout the building the artist has installed projections screens and hidden cameras. The imagery changes every 15 seconds overhead.

A large stainless steel butcher's counter functions as a piano in the foyer.
